Track by product and lot
Record finished stock by product and lot number for traceability and recalls. Lots link back to the bottling run that made them.
Bonded vs tax-paid
Distinguish stock on which excise is paid from stock still under bond — see under bond explained. It matters for both compliance and what you can dispatch.
Dispatch
When stock ships, deplete it from the right lot (first-in-first-out is common) so counts stay accurate and tie to sales.
Keep it connected
