- Mash/cooking gear — if working from grain
- Pumps, hoses and fittings
Measurement & compliance
- Hydrometers / densitometer for ABV
- Calibrated measures for accurate LAL
- Temperature monitoring (or smart still sensors)
Maturation
- Casks (see choosing the right cask)
- Warehouse racking
Packaging
- Bottling setup, closures, labels
- Storage for finished goods
Systems
- Software to track production, stock and excise from batch one
